The Sawmill Inn is a family run free-house country pub. Developed in the original 17th century buildings of an old watermill,idyllically situated it is a true “old Mill by the stream” nestling amid woodland alongside the Ilfracombe to Combe Martin coast road and coastal footpaths,approximately two miles from Ilfracombe.

The pub has been run by the same family since 1988 and in this time they have extended the building to create a large,spacious and comfortable pub and have gained a reputation for good food and well kept ales.
Children are permitted anywhere throughout the pub and families are well catered for with “Kids”menu,highchairs and a baby changing unit in the ladies toilets.
The Pub has a large car park and an attractive patio and garden by the stream.
Dogs are permitted in the bar area.
During the winter months fires compliment the central heating to provide warmth and atmosphere. There are skittles and pool teams and these pub games are available to all customers on non league nights (by prior arrangement for the skittle alley).
We can cater for your special occasions;from Formal Dinners for up to 70 persons to Evening Buffets for up to 200 persons. We can supply contact details for bands or discos and can include decorating the room to your specifications in our quote.
